AMAGGI reaches its best position yet in the Valor 1000 ranking historical series
AMAGGI obtained its best position yet in the Valor 1000 ranking of the largest companies in the country, prepared annually by the Valor Econômico newspaper. In its 2021 edition (which considers performance data from the previous year), Valor 1000 named AMAGGI as the 37th largest company in Brazil, with an estimated net revenue of BRL 23.5 billion.
The position stems from a significant leap undertaken by the company. In the previous edition of the survey, AMAGGI was in 44th position. Since 2016 the company has fluctuated between the 47th and 40th positions in the ranking, which measures the size of companies using net revenue criterion.
AMAGGI was also named as the 3rd largest company in the North/Midwest region. In the Food & Beverage category, it was named the 9th largest in the sector in the country and the largest in the North/Midwest region.
Época magazine also recently published the Época 360º survey, indicating AMAGGI as the 2nd largest company in the Midwest region and 36th largest in the country, in terms of net revenue (previous position in the ranking was 41st). In the agribusiness segment, the survey considered AMAGGI the 5th best company in the country in the Sustainability category.
Using its own methodology, the Época 360º yearbook also evaluates the best companies in the country according to financial performance, corporate governance, innovation, sustainability, vision of the future and people management. AMAGGI appears as the 11th best company in the Midwest region and 221st best in the country.
