1 OBJECTIVE
Formalize AMAGGI’s Socio-Environmental Policy for dissemination and awareness of its content.
1.1 Scope
Applies to all AMAGGI units in Brazil.
1.2 Changes Made
No changes were made to the content of the Socio-Environmental Policy.
The revision was necessary to correct the document approval workflow and align it with the
Company’s document management guidelines.
2 DEFINITIONS, TERMINOLOGY AND ACRONYMS
For the purposes of the current Policy on the subject, the company means by:
Good Governance: the system by which companies and other organizations are directed, monitored, and encouraged, involving relationships among shareholders, the board of directors,
executive management, oversight and control bodies, and other stakeholders.
Value Chain: the set of activities carried out by an organization, from its relationships with suppliers, through the production and sales stages, to final distribution.
Engagement: dialogue between the company and one or more stakeholders, which may take place in various ways and take different forms. It always seeks interaction and aims to provide a opportunity for stakeholders’ views to be heard, with two-way communication being its defining characteristic.
Stakeholders: organizations and/or individuals that have one or more interests in the company or that are or may be affected by any of its decisions or activities. And that, therefore, have a relationship with the company, whether formal or informal, regardless of whether they are aware of such relationship.
Socio-Environmental Risks: occurrences inherent to the Company’s activities that cause undesirable impacts and need to be managed systematically by determining their likelihood of occurrence and measuring and quantifying their social, environmental, and economic impacts.
Transparency: the willingness to disclose everything that may affect the interests of stakeholders, who, when better informed, are in a better position to assess the risks assumed.
Shared Value: the premise that, for long-term business success, generating value for society is just as important as generating value for shareholders.
3 TITLE
AMAGGI operates in agricultural production and soybean seed production, grain origination, processing and marketing, agricultural inputs, energy, port management, and inland waterway transportation.
The Socio-Environmental Policy reaffirms our commitment to operating in a socially fair, environmentally responsible, and economically viable manner. AMAGGI’s operations are guided by the principles of transparency and good governance.
To this end, environmental protection, the minimization of socio-environmental risks, and the pursuit of continuous improvement that respects the needs and expectations of stakeholders are fundamental principles.
1. Comply with applicable legal requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes that are related to its socio-environmental aspects.
2. Improve our processes by seeking to prevent pollution and social impacts, manage greenhouse gas emissions, and continuously improve socio-environmental performance across our operations and value chain.
3. Adopt good socio-environmental practices aimed at minimizing accidents and negative impacts and generating shared value.
4. Promote the engagement of business partners and key stakeholders in socio-environmental responsibility.
5. Promote respect for human rights and decent work across our operations and value chain.

All employees are individually responsible for ensuring compliance with this document in conjunction with AMAGGI’s Code of Ethics and current legislation and regulations.
It is the responsibility of immediate managers to ensure that their team receives the necessary guidance to meet the requirements in this document.
This document and its updating, whenever necessary, is the responsibility of the Socio-Environmental Department and any exception to the provisions must be forwarded to the Socio-Environmental Manager
