What are cookies?
Cookies are information files sent from the browser and stored on the computer, mobile phone, or any other device, when a person visits a web page.
There are two types of cookies:
1) permanent ones (that remain in the computer until they are erased);
2) temporary ones (that last only until the browser is closed).
For example, most websites store basic information such as IP addresses and preferences of languages, colors, etc.
Cookies improve the users’ experience functionality in navigating in websites by enabling users to navigate the web pages effectively and, in this manner, remembering their preferences, helping to enhance the browsing experience.
